The project will focus on the development of tools to probe the interactions between CRISPR-Cas systems and foreign genetic entities. Studies will involve a wide range of approaches including bioinformatics, molecular biology, microbial genetics, and proteomics.
The candidate should have recently received a Ph.D. in molecular biology, biochemistry or a related discipline. A successful candidate will be highly motivated and eager to develop and pursue a novel research program.
Applicants are asked to include a CV, a brief description of research interests, and an anticipated start date. Requests should be addressed to: Joseph.Bondy-Denomy [at] ucsf.edu
